Robert G. Ingersoll's "the Truth"
Team FLASH collected nearly $1300. Well done! |
The billboard is up! it is located at Sunrise Blvd and NW 27 Ave, Ft Lauderdale. So far the response has been mostly positive. If you drive by it, consider stopping by the salon/beauty supply store and buy something, be sure to comment on the sign. Apparently, some believers are so incensed over the sign and don't like the idea that atheists exist, that they are blaming the store (or so I am told). We want to keep the board up and are considering other advertising options, so please donate a few bucks.
The purpose of the sign is 1. to advertise FLASH and let others know there is a group for them and 2. raise public awareness that they have been lied to about who atheists really are. Another case of "cherry picking" bible verses to support their bigotry. open letter to the churches and religious public
