The first annual Carl Sagan Day, November 7, 2009, was initiated to celebrate the life and contributions of the great astronomer, author, and philosopher, Carl Sagan, on the 75th anniversary of his birth.
It was a great success that we hope will be replicated by other communities around the world each year.
